Privacy matters but it can be confusing. The following explains my approach to privacy when visiting the website of http://jouleeyah.com and how it affects you.
My website aims to be compliant and in line with UK and EU General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). And I do not accept clients for my healing services who are under the age of 18.
In general, when visiting the website of http://jouleeyah.com, your personal data will not be saved. Like any website, I temporarily collect anonymous statistics about your visit via cookies, e.g. which of my pages you viewed and what country you come from. You can change the settings of your browser to avoid this from happening, please follow the instructions of your browser in order to do that.
Some 3rd parties like Facebook and Twitter may know you visited this website, if you use their services. I can’t control them but I don’t believe this knowledge poses any threat to you.
You may enter your data on a voluntary basis by filling out my contact form. In that case I collect your IP address and whatever you fill out (e.g. your name and your email address). This data is only being used so that I can contact you back, prepare for my healing work and schedule Healing Sessions with you.
You may also enter your data on a voluntary basis by booking Healing Sessions with me. In that case I collect your IP address, and I collect whatever you fill out in my Intake Form so that I can properly help you with my healing work, and I collect your physical address and your phone number for invoicing and tax purposes. I don’t collect your bank account or your credit card data, you will be billed safely through PayPal.
And you may also enter your data on a voluntary basis by subscribing to my newsletter. In this case your first name and your email address is stored in order to send you newsletters in email form, links to my free content on YouTube and occasional offers on live events, e.g. workshops. I use EmailOctopus email management systems to provide my newsletters.
You can ask me to show you what data is being selected and to delete said data – except in certain circumstances, which may include having to keep processing your personal information to comply with a legal obligation. An example of such obligation is the requirement to keep a copy of all invoices to comply with financial and tax legislation.
No data will be passed on to third parties.
This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through my website and not to information collected offline. By using my site, you consent to my web site privacy policy.
