As I mentioned in January this year in this post here, I was looking for ways to play live again via Zoom or something else.
And I am happy to announce that I am now able to record my music using my iPhone only. Actually I am using my iPod, but it pretty much has the same features even though it is a hundred years old.
Being able to use my iPod to record myself properly is a great new beginning because this way I can get a good feel for my sound while I practise my songs. I do have a whole home studio to record my songs, but for practising it is easier to record myself only with my iPod. This is fun!
Any way... so here is a first snippet of my song "WANTING" recorded with my iPod using only my acoustic guitar and my voice:
If you are interested in how I set up everything to record myself this way, scroll down for some photos and below them you can find video links to who and what gave me the idea to record myself using an iPhone or iPod only.
This is an easy way to make a tripod for your iPhone if you are looking for a quick solution like I did:
DIY iPhone tripod. The video is in German, but you can easily follow the instructions. And as you can see in my photos I simplified my set-up even more.

Let's see how long it will take me to get from practising to either playing live via Zoom or to sharing my live recordings in some other way. I will try my best to speed up a little :-)
